At Clydesdale Housing Association, we are governed by a voluntary Management Committee made up of individuals who generously give their time, experience and expertise to help shape the future of the Association. The Committee plays a vital role in providing leadership, overseeing key decisions and ensuring that CHA remains focused on delivering high-quality homes and services for our tenants and communities.
Working closely with the senior staff team, the Management Committee oversees the Association’s finances, monitors performance, reviews risks and helps set the strategic direction of the organisation. Their role is to provide assurance that CHA is well governed, financially sustainable and operating in the best interests of tenants.
A key responsibility of the Committee is the Annual Assurance Statement. Each year, Committee members review evidence from across the Association to assess compliance with the Scottish Housing Regulator’s Regulatory Framework. This process helps provide confidence that CHA continues to meet the standards expected of a Registered Social Landlord while identifying any areas where improvements may be required.
The Committee’s work covers a wide range of important areas, including:
