Clydesdale Housing Association continues to play an important role in helping people and families experiencing homelessness across our communities.
Between 1 April 2025 and 31 March 2026, CHA re-let 51 empty homes. Of these, 26 homes (51%) were allocated to homeless applicants, with the remaining 25 homes allocated to other applicants.
Homeless applicants can include people who have nowhere to stay, are living in temporary accommodation, are unable to remain safe in their current home, or are at risk of losing their accommodation.
At CHA, we carefully balance the needs of homeless applicants, existing tenants and other people to ensure our homes continue to support local housing needs.
This work reflects our ongoing commitment to providing quality homes and excellent services for all, today and in the future.
