Our staff are making this Christmas matter!
Our kind-hearted staff decided to forego their annual “Secret Santa” gifts this year and donate to the local Kit for Kids Christmas appeal instead. Staff raised a total of £475 and our Management Committee very kindly agreed to top this up to £1000 with money from our donations budget, as well as £60 of their own personal donations. We were able to buy gifts, toiletries, and gift cards to help families in our local community at Christmas time. Our reactive maintenance contractor, Davidson Lindsay Electrical Services, very kindly donated their time and transport to deliver the gifts to Donna Black, Kit for Kids Coordinator.
Kit for Kids is a local charity run by Donna Black who, for the past 3 years, has organised Christmas Bags for struggling families across the Clydesdale area. Donna gives up her own time to work tirelessly to ensure that families in need do not go without at Christmas time, as well as throughout the year. Everyone in the Association is truly humbled by the work that Donna carries out. To read more about Donna’s story please follow the link below:
