Clydesdale Housing Association

Rent Payments & Arrears

PAYMENT PERIOD - Our rents are due on or before the 28th of each month and are charged monthly in advance - this means for example that the April rent is due to be paid by the 28th March.

PAYMENT METHODS - There are three main methods available for paying rent: Standing Order, Girobank or Cheque/Postal Order at our office/by post.

RENT ARREARS/DEBT PROBLEMS - If you are a Clydesdale tenant or shared owner and you are experiencing difficulty in paying your rent, please contact us.  We can check your entitlement to Housing Benefit and assist you in completing the necessary application forms.  Clydesdale can also arrange an appointment for you to meet with a Money Advisor who will help you organise the repayment of rent arrears and other debts you may have.  The Money Advisor will also provide Benefit entitlement advice.

We have arrangements in place with South Lanarkshire Council's Money Matters Service and Clydesdale Citizens Advice to offer qualified advice to tenants.  Contact details for each of these services are listed on our Useful Links page.

If you need to contact us after you've read about it, please click here to email us.
