Applying for Housing

Applying for housing can be a daunting prospect - lots of forms, trying to make sense of allocation policies, trying to get an idea of how good your housing prospects are and choosing the area where you would like to live.

At Clydesdale Housing Association we aim to take the hard work and as much of the worry out of applying for housing as possible.  We will provide an application form for you to complete and, if required, we can also provide an appointment to meet with one of our experienced staff members who will check your completed form and provide you with housing prospects advice.  

Contact us to obtain an application form or download an electronic version (Acrobat Version 8 required) and post or email the completed form to us.  We are using the South Lanarkshire Homefinder application form as part of a transitional arrangement towards participating in the new approach which is outlined below.

We are currently working in partnership with South Lanarkshire Council and other social housing providers to simplify the application process by creating an approach that will enable applicants to apply to any or all of the member landlords through completing only one application form - the new approach will be called Homefinder.  Although we are working towards the Homefinder system at present, it is not yet fully operational, therefore, please ensure that you follow the process outlined in the above paragraph if you want to make sure you will be considered for Clydesdale Housing Association properties.
