Membership

Support us in our work by becoming a member!

We are a membership organisation and aim to attract people from the groups and communities we serve. We aim to establish a wide and active membership by recruiting as members, individuals with an interest in the work of the Association and to make effective use of the skills, experience and views of its members.

In a formal sense, the Association is accountable to its members. The Association had 135 members as at 31 March 2010.

Our constitution is set out in our rules, which are currently based on the Model Rules (Scotland) 1998 as published by the Scottish Federation of Housing Associations.

All members are invited to attend our Annual General Meeting, which takes place each September. Members elect the Association's Management Committee at the AGM, approve our audited accounts and receive reports on the other activities of the Association over the last year. Members also receive a copy of the Association's quarterly newsletter.

Membership costs just £1 and can be applied for by completing the downloadable form below.  Please read the leaflet provided before filling out the form.
